Big night at Lyric Hammersmith for Helena Doughty

An ambitious and exciting project of new writing and audience debate, “99%” is an evening inspired by a modern world where civil unrest is becoming more common due to a lack of faith for the governing bodies to deal with current issues. “Away From Home” at the 24:7 Theatre Festival

For all those based in the North West, 24:7 Theatre Festival has come to represent the centre of new talent and new writing. With this is mind it is with great pleasure we announce that AD’s own Rob Ward will be involved this year in “Away From Home”, a subversive one man show which he co-wrote and stars in, about the life of a male escort who becomes involved with a Premier League footballer. A huge welcome and hearty congratulations to one of the newest ladies to the Actors Direct books, Mary Hooton (pic). No sooner had she joined Actors Direct than she was booked for an advert, coming onto your television soon. A professional match made in heaven, we quite agree. This weekend at the Royal Northern College for Music is Tea Leaves: Two for Tea by CTL Productions. The sequel to last year’s “Tea Leaves‘” it now stars another new member to AD’s books, Lynette Campbell (pictured). Tickets are sure to go fast so follow the above link for further details.
