December 16th – Louise Wright
And behind door 16 – it’s our very own Louise Wright. She is spending the Christmas season with SlungLow Theatre and their tour of ‘Emergency Story Penguin’. This is the second time Louise has worked on the project as it was so successful last season. Louise has also recently been on a national number one tour of ‘Scooby Doo’, a project endorsed by Warner Brothers themselves. For tour dates for SlungLow, check out their website. December 15th – Alex Whitworth
Greetings! Alexandra Whitworth is behind our door number 15. She’s currently on tour for Dazzle and Fizz playing the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella. Full company information can be found here. Alex can often be found recording audio books or on tour for London Contemporary Theatre or Quantum Theatre. She’s one of our superb actor musos and a skilled dancer. Cathy Shiel – December 14th
Cathy Shiel has been a busy bunny, sorry, Squirrel this year. In addition to her superb range as an actor, Cathy is also an Early Years Specialist and an outstanding clown. This year she secured Arts Council Funding to develop her new piece of theatre: Cyril the Squirrel. Cyril the Squirrel is an exciting, silly and heart-warming new piece of children’s theatre about diversity, friendship and life in Woody Woodyland.The play tells the story of Cyril, a squirrel in turmoil, who is taunted and teased by some of the animal folk of woody woodland. The colour of his fur and his eating habits mean he is soon evicted from his tree by a sneaky weasel. Fortunately Rosie Red has a good idea – ting – should Cyril stand up for his Squirrel rights and can squirrels even stand up?! For information on the show and its forthcoming 2016 tour, click here.
