Deborah Pugh will be boxing out of the red corner in the UK tour of Gloves On.

Set in a floodlit boxing ring, this physical performance investigates the intricacies of courage and honour, ritual and spectatorship. The show explores boxing and its place in British psyche, conveying the emotional, physical and psychological challenge of a boxer’s experience.

The Gloves On kicks off on the 19th June in Victoria Park, Hackney with shows at 4pm Sat & 8.45pm Sunday as part of the Paradise Gardens Festival.
