Aisling Caffrey wraps on set and heads for the boards

Actors Direct’s very own Aisling Caffrey has been in high demand recently, wrapping two independent Shorts, “The Small Garden,” and “Internalised,” the later of which has just screened at the Canned Film Festival.
Now, she’s heading straight back to the stage in In A Moment’s “Barefaced: Stripped Back Theatre” which will be playing at the Blue Orange Theatre in Birmingham. We thoroughly advise you check it out.

Award for Industry Short and Sarah Oldknow

We are proud to announce that the Thomas Allen Northern Film School’s recent Short, “A Small Price to Pay” has won 3rd Prize in the Kodak UK Commercial Awards.

Rob Ward to appear in Buxton Festival’s Tempest

Utilising only five actors and a suitcase Theatre by Numbers production of The Tempest is starring our own Rob Ward as Ferdinand, Stephano, and Sebastian!

This fresh production, using physical theatre and traditional storytelling will be touring first as part of Manchester’s “Not Part Of” festival, and then travelling to the Buxton Fringe Festival.

Pack up Your Troubles at the Salford Lowry

Our very own Justine Bailey and Michael Justice will be appearing in the Lowry’s Quay Theatre in “Pack up Your Troubles” a Musical about the effects that WW2 had on family life in Salford. Working in conjunction with Creative Industries in Salford, the cast comprises of professional actors and teenagers from Salford to bring this compelling and nostalgic piece of theatre to life.
